Shoei CWR-F2 Transitions® Photochromic Visor

The Shoei CWR-F2 Transitions® Photochromic Visor is a premium adaptive motorcycle helmet visor designed to automatically respond to changing light conditions. Using Transitions® photochromic technology, the visor darkens in bright sunlight and becomes lighter as conditions change, helping riders maintain comfortable visibility without constantly swapping between clear and tinted visors.

Designed for compatible Shoei helmets using the CWR-F2 visor system, it combines automatic light adjustment, excellent optical clarity, UV protection and aerodynamic performance for versatile everyday and performance riding.

Transitions® Photochromic Technology

The visor automatically adjusts its tint according to surrounding light conditions.

In bright sunlight, it darkens to help reduce glare and excessive light exposure. As conditions become darker, the visor gradually becomes clearer, making it a practical option for riders travelling through changing weather and lighting throughout the day.

Dynamic Light Transmission

The CWR-F2 Transitions® visor offers dynamic light transmission from approximately 23% to 80%, allowing it to adapt across a broad range of riding conditions.

It is also designed to fade back to approximately 50% light transmission within two minutes as lighting conditions change.

Over 99% UV Protection

The visor provides more than 99% UV protection, helping shield the rider’s eyes and face from harmful ultraviolet rays during prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Anti-Reflective Coating

An anti-reflective coating helps minimise unwanted reflections across the visor surface, supporting clearer and more comfortable vision while riding.

Precision-Moulded Optical Clarity

The CWR-F2 visor is precision moulded to provide excellent optical accuracy and minimise visual distortion.

This helps maintain a clear and natural field of vision across changing speeds and riding environments.

Aerodynamic Vortex Generators

Integrated Vortex Generators help manage airflow around the visor and helmet.

A reinforced visor edge also helps maintain the shield’s shape at higher speeds, supporting consistent aerodynamic performance.

Pinlock® Ready

The visor is compatible with the Pinlock® CWR-F2/CWR-F2R Lens Insert, allowing riders to add an anti-fog insert for improved visibility in cold, wet or humid conditions.

Quick Tool-Free Replacement

A centre-mounted visor tab provides convenient operation, while Shoei’s quick-change system allows the visor to be removed and replaced without specialist tools.
